1. Introduction and Identity
1.1 PARKMATE VALET PARKING SERVICES L.L.C., a limited liability company duly incorporated in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (the “Company”), operates the website located at www.parkmatevalet.com (the “Website”) and the mobile application branded as “SLOTMAN” (the “Application”).
1.2 In the course of operating the Website and Application and providing valet parking services, the Company collects and processes personal data. For the purposes of Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and its implementing regulations (the “PDPL”), the Company acts as the data controller.
1.3 This Privacy Policy sets out the basis upon which personal data is handled.
2. Scope of Processing
2.1 This Policy applies to personal data collected directly from users when registering accounts, booking services, making enquiries, or otherwise interacting with the Company through the Website or Application.
2.2 It also applies to technical information collected automatically when users access the Website or use the Application.
3. Categories of Information Collected
3.1 Depending on the nature of the interaction, the Company may collect the user’s name, contact details, vehicle information (including registration number and model), booking history, transaction records and service-related correspondence.
3.2 In connection with the provision of valet services, photographic images of the exterior condition of vehicles are captured at the time of handover for evidentiary and dispute management purposes.
3.3 Where necessary to perform services, location data may be processed to facilitate vehicle collection and return.
3.4 When users access the Website, certain technical data may be recorded automatically, including IP address, browser type, device identifiers and usage patterns.
3.5 Payment transactions are processed through authorised third-party payment service providers. The Company does not retain full payment card details.
3.6 The Company does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data unless required by law or necessary for compliance purposes.
4. Purpose and Legal Basis
4.1 Personal data is processed strictly for legitimate operational purposes. These include account administration, booking confirmation, dispatch of authorised drivers, vehicle return coordination, documentation of vehicle condition, payment processing, handling of enquiries or complaints, and compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
4.2 Processing is undertaken where necessary for the performance of a contract, to comply with legal obligations, or in pursuit of legitimate business interests, provided such interests do not override the rights of the data subject.
